Rocket explosion in Kandhkot: A rocket explosion at a home in Shah Ali Sabzoi hamlet in the Katcha district killed seven people, including four children, according to local authorities. The police stated that six other individuals were injure in the incident but provide limited information about the explosion.

Medical facilities attended to the injured. The act has spread fear and intimidation throughout the neighbourhood.

Rohail Khoso, SSP for Kashmore district, has stated that the rocket shell was in the impacted home. Children threw it into the cooker, causing a fatal explosion, according to the district police head.

Police officer: “Police have cordoned off the village and are conducting a search operation.”

The absence of doctors in the hospital prompted protests from the families of the deceased and the injured.

Maqbool Baqar, the interim chief minister of Sindh, has requested a report from the IG Police after learning of the rocket launcher explosion in Kandhkot’s Katcha neighbourhood.

Additionally, The caretaker CM questioned the police head about how the rocket shell reached Sabzoi Goth and inquired whether a shipment of weapons was being smuggled in the Katcha area.

He said, “Are there bandit facilitators in the village?” The CM went on to ask “how the rocket exploded, claiming loss of several lives.”

Further, Justice Baqar told the head of the Sindh Police, “I want a full record of the occurrence.

However, To stop bandit groups and other criminals engaged in widespread kidnapping for ransom and other crimes in the area, the Sindh government has decided to undertake a law enforcement operation in katcha regions (riverine woods) along the Indus River in upper Sindh districts.

Last Friday, the interim chief minister of Sindh, Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar, gave the go-ahead for the Pakistan Army and Sindh Rangers to conduct a thorough joint operation against dacoits in the katcha region of the Sukkur and Larkana divisions.
