Russian air defences shot down Ukrainian drones over the areas of Tula and Belgorod without mentioning any collateral damage or casualties.
Russia Foiled Ukrainian Drone Attacks: According to a statement sent on Telegram by the Russian defense ministry, air defenses over the Tula region south of Moscow “destroyed” two drones.
Around 11 p.m. Moscow time (2000 GMT) on Monday, air defense forces “destroyed” another drone over the Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine, as stated in a separate announcement from the ministry.
The ministry did not disclose either the damage or the number of casualties associated with each occurrence.
After promising earlier this summer to “return” the conflict to Russia, Kiev has launched a flurry of drone attacks against the city and other Russian regions in recent days.
There hasn’t been much significant harm from the attacks.
