A security personnel killed at least four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in or around Semu Wanda, Lakki Marwat district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Security forces kill terrorists in Lakki Marwat: According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conduct during the night of October 19–20. The security forces managed to capture one injured terrorist.

During the raid, they found a cache of weapons, equipment, and explosives. “These terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well as target killing of innocent civilians,” it stated.

The statement added that the locals “appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the threat of terrorism.”

This week, four soldiers lost their lives in separate confrontations with militants in the North and South Waziristan regions. These clashes were a tragic reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by the military forces operating in the area, highlighting the persisting threat posed by militant groups.
