The rising Bollywood singer Shehnaaz Gill has spoken out about the topic of inequity on set and discussed her own experience while filming her upcoming film, “Thank You For Coming.”

Shehnaaz Gill opens equality in Bollywood: Bhumi Pednekar plays the lead in the movie, while other renowned actors and actresses including Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, Shehnaaz Gill, and Shibani Bedi also have significant roles. Shehnaaz claimed in a recent interview that she didn’t have any feelings of inferiority while working on the set.

Gill was questioned about her experiences with equal treatment on the “Thank You For Coming” set during an interview with a well-known entertainment website. She answered truthfully, “Yes, I really did feel that way on this shoot. I assumed there might be a perception that well-known people receive preferential treatment while the others are ignored. But in this instance, it wasn’t the case.

The production staff also had a vital part, she continued, underscoring the crucial role they performed. They never gave me the impression that you were supporting players and the star actor was someone else. In no way. They just called me when it was time for my injections, which was great even in the vanity van. This is a crucial consideration. Everyone was treated equally by them. What else is there to say?
