The film “Jawan,” starring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has joined the Rs 1000 crore club.
‘Jawan’ joins ₹1000 crore club: Along with Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi play the key characters in the film. Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Lehar Khan, Girija Oak, and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya are among the actors who appear in it. Additionally, Sanjay Dutt and Deepika Padukone feature in the movie in cameo roles.
The film has earned $1 billion at the global box office, making SRK the first Indian actor to have two films in the $1 billion club in the same calendar year.
Shah Rukh Khan as Vikram Rathore and his son Azad from Jawan were briefly visible in the following video. The clip’s text stated, “Global gross: 1004.92 crore.” An X user responded, “SRK (Shah Rukh Khan) + Atlee + Anirudh Ravichander (the film’s music composer)… 1500 crore soon,” in response. Another user wrote, “Only Indian actor (Shah Rukh Khan) to have two films with a combined global gross of $1 billion.
The movie opened to an incredible 75 crore net in India across all languages. In India, Jawan made 389.88 crore in its first week of release and another 136.1 crore in its second.
A father-son tale at its core, “Jawan” uses its Shah Rukh-portrayed hero to emphasise numerous social and political themes. Sanjay Dutt makes a brief cameo appearance in the movie together with Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, and Mukesh Chhabra.
The film’s creators remained mum regarding the OTT platform on which Jawan would stream, but it appears that Netflix has secured an agreement to release the blockbuster digitally in the coming months.
