Earthquake hits Islamabad: In addition to Islamabad and the adjacent areas, vibrations from the earthquake were also reported in Gujranwala, Jhelum, Hafizabad, Chicha Watani, Sialkot, Mandi Bahauddin, Shakargarh, Zafarwal, and the nearby cities of Gujranwala and Sialkot.

Earthquake tremors were felt in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region in Swat, Swabi, and other locations. In addition to Muzaffarabad, DhirKot, Samahni, Bagh, Neelam Valley, and other places, earthquake vibrations were felt in Azad Kashmir.

The earthquake, which occurred at 1:40 pm and was recorded as having a magnitude of 5.6 by the PMD, had an epicenter in East Kashmir and was 10 km deep.

Reciting verses from the Quran, individuals fled their homes and places of business in panic as result of the earthquake. In addition, the Indian media reports that New Delhi has also experienced earthquake vibrations. The northern parts of India were also affected by the earthquake’s tremors.
