Taylor Swift, known for breaking barriers, announced that her documentary film from her billion-dollar Eras concert tour will screen in countries worldwide.
Taylor Swift’s Eras concert tour film: The vocalist of “Anti-Hero” posted on Instagram that “the tour isn’t the only thing we’re taking worldwide.”
“The Eras Tour concert film is now officially coming to theatres WORLDWIDE on Oct. 13,” the message reads.
Swift had previously stated that only North Americans would be able to see the film, titled “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.”
AMC Entertainment, Cineplex, and Cinemark now have a high-profile title to assist fill the voids left by the Hollywood writers’ and actors’ strikes thanks to the singer’s film.
Box Office Pro forecasts that Swift’s movie will make between $96 million and $145 million in American box office revenue over its debut weekend.
The popularity of the 12-time Grammy winner’s “Eras” movie rivalled that of popular blockbuster franchises like Walt Disney’s Star Wars and Marvel.
Further, Swift’s 1989-themed documentary has adult tickets that cost $19.89 apiece. Furthermore, The price of children’s tickets will be $13.13, a nod to the singer’s adoption of 13 as her lucky number.
However, Swift revealed the 53 stadium gigs that would make up her Eras Tour on November 1, 2022. Later, the tour was extended to 78 international dates.
