The official anthem for the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 8) was made public on Saturday by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Furthermore, top personalities in Pakistani music co-wrote the largest musical anthem of the year to create something beautiful.
Young musician Abdullah Siddiqui wrote the tune, which also contains outstanding musicians like Shae Gill from Coke Studio, Asim Azhar, and rapper Faris Shafi.
Siddiqui created the PSL anthem for the second year in a row after co-writing the “Agay Dekh” hymn for PSL 7 with Atif Aslam and Aima Baig.
Once Gill finishes his vocals, Asim enters the song. Faris gave the anthem a rap flavor.
Azhar, Shafi, Ali, Raamis, and Siddique wrote the lyrics.
Prior to the PSL 8 tournament’s inaugural match between Multan Sultans and the reigning champions Lahore Qalandars on February 13, the opening ceremony will take place in Multan. Lahore will host the final on March 19.
Lahore Qalandars will try to become the first team to win consecutive championships, while Islamabad United will try to make history by winning the trophy three times.
