The rupee decrease 63 paisa against the dollar

In Tuesday’s interbank trading, the Pakistani rupee decrease 63 paisas against the US dollar and ended the day at Rs262.51 as opposed to Rs261.88 the day before.

The Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP) reports that the open market exchange rates for purchasing and selling dollars were Rs267 and Rs269.5, respectively.

Compared to the previous day’s closing price of Rs280.18, the price of one Euro dropped by 8 paisas to settle at Rs280.10.

The British pound’s exchange rate fell by 06 paisa to conclude at Rs315.44 as opposed to its previous closing of Rs315.50, while the Japanese Yen stayed unaltered to close at Rs1.95.

The exchange rates for the Saudi Riyal and the Emirates Dirham both fell by 17 paisas to settle at Rs. 71.47 and Rs. 69.98, respectively.
