The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported at least three terrorists were killed in a gunfight with security personnel on Sunday in the general Miran Shah region of North Waziristan district.
Three terrorists killed in Waziristan: Three additional troops were reportedly martyred, according to the military’s media wing, during the ferocious gunfire that erupted on June 9–10.
“Own troops successfully attacked the terrorists’ location, sending three of them to hell while injuring four others. From the terrorists who were killed, weapons and ammo were also found, according to the ISPR.
The killed troops were Sepoy Muhammad Zaman, 22, Sepoy Naseem Khan, 26, and Subedar Asghar Ali, 40.
The ISPR added that a sanitization operation was underway to get rid of any further terrorists that were discovered in the region.
The statement emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces are relentlessly committed to eradicating terrorism. It also highlighted that the sacrifices made by their brave soldiers only serve to reinforce their determination.
Last week, a gunfight took place in the tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), resulting in the deaths of two terrorists. Additionally, two Pakistani Army personnel were martyred in the incident.
