Security personnel killed three terrorists on Tuesday during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Tirah neighborhood of the Khyber region.
Three terrorists killed in Khyber: According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press statement, during the operation, Pakistani military and terrorists engaged in an exchange of fire, which led to the deaths of three terrorists, including commander Kifayat, also known as Tor Adnan.
According to the ISPR, “He actively participated in numerous terrorist attacks against law enforcement agencies and the murder of innocent civilians.”
The military’s media affairs division reported that they are sanitizing the area to eliminate any remaining militants.

On September 21, security forces carried out IBOs in two districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where they killed eight militants and detained five others.
A heavy shootout between forces and terrorists took place during the initial operation in the general area of Jani Khel, Bannu District, according to the military’s media wing.
