Donald Trump blasted the judge overseeing his civil fraud trial in New York on Wednesday, telling him to “leave my children alone” prior to the testimony of his oldest son, Don Jr.
Trump bashes NY judge’: This week, Don Jr., 45, and Eric Trump, 39, are anticipated to testify in the trial for financial fraud that threatens to severely damage the former president’s business empire.
In a series of harsh remarks on his Truth Social platform, Trump, the front-runner for the Republican nominee in 2024, disparaged Judge Arthur Engoron, the person overseeing the case, labelling him a “political hack” who is “doing the dirty work for the Democrat Party.”
The 77-year-old former president declared that Engoron was dangerous, insane, and completely deranged. “Engaron, leave my kids alone. You represent a disgrace to the legal industry!
If the court timetable holds true, Don Jr. will testify on Wednesday and Eric Trump on Thursday.
“Trump Organization Faces Legal Scrutiny on Asset Valuation: Potential Impact on the 2024 Presidential Election”
The Trump Organisation, a vast network of businesses that manages opulent hotels, golf courses, and residential and office skyscrapers worldwide, employs both executive vice presidents. Letitia James, the state attorney general of New York, has accused the brothers and their father of deceitfully inflating the group’s asset value by billions of dollars in order to secure better insurance and bank loan terms.
Less than a year before the November 5, 2024 presidential election that Trump hopes will propel him back into the White House, authorities may question him on Monday.
Two days later, Ivanka Trump, the daughter of the former president, who quit the Trump Organisation in 2017 to work as her father’s advisor in the White House, might arrive. She previously worked for the family firm, but she is not a defendant in this case.
Since their father moved into the White House, Don Jr. and Eric Trump assumed leadership of the Trump Organisation, and they haven’t changed since the trial started a month ago.
They claim that banks did not lose money financing to the Trump Organisation and that the group’s subjective assessments of its properties, including Trump Tower and a building at 40 Wall Street, were accurate.
