The much-awaited reunion of former on-screen lovers Syra Yousuf and Shahroz Sabzwari has generated attention thanks to their most recent movie, “Babylicious.” The movie has received a resoundingly positive reception from viewers since its release over the joyous holiday of Eid ul Azha.
Waqar Zaka’s debut production: The romantic comedy “Babylicious” is produced by former TV host and cryptocurrency expert Waqar Zaka, and it effectively attracts audiences with its touching plot. Zaka stated his goal to deviate from the nation’s customary cinematic patterns when discussing his opinions on this first production. He emphasised that he wanted to make a movie that people could see not just in Pakistan but also in Bangladesh, India, and other countries.
Waqar Zaka prefers to experiment with new genres rather relying solely on political comedies or suspenseful thrillers. With its storytelling techniques that appeal to Pakistani youth, he sees “Babylicious” as a much-needed breath of fresh air.
The movie just had a spectacular debut at a nearby cinema, attended by a host of celebrities. Famous personalities including Behroz Sabzwari, Bushra Ansari, Khaled Anam, Adnan Jaffar, Mani, Hira, Adnan Shah Tipu, and Bilal Ashraf attended the premiere in addition to Shahroz Sabzwari and Syra Yousuf.
It’s important to note that “Babylicious” has been a long-in-the-making endeavour. The film succeeded in overcoming its obstacles despite the real-life separation of the key actors. The concept for the film dates back to 2012, and the script began to take shape around 2017. The Covid-19 pandemic and the years that followed presented more difficulties, but the movie persisted and at last found an audience.
