In NEW DELHI: Hardik Pandya, India’s captain, remarked after the team’s T20 series triumph over Sri Lanka in Rajkot that Suryakumar Yadav’s impact on the game makes batting easier for his teammates. Yadav, according to Pandya, facilitates batting for the Indian squad.
He is the top-ranked T20 batsman. And he scored a century in 45 balls against Sri Lanka on Saturday, helping India to an unbeatable 228-5 lead.
Yadav extended India’s 12-series winning streak at home by becoming the only player to register three T20 hundreds while batting at No. 3 or lower.
After India won the series 2-1, Pandya said, “It makes my life very easy.” The way he alters the game and plays certain strokes actually lowers the bowler’s spirits, which benefits other batsmen as well.
Yadav’s aggressive shotmaking was on full show as he destroyed Sri Lanka with nine sixes and seven fours.
Pandya attributed it to the 32-year-uncomplicated old’s batting style.
You don’t really need to go and speak to him, Pandya said, based on the state of his physical appearance and his level of clarity. He’s always been very transparent about his strategy, which is why he succeeds in this format. He has confidence in his competence.
Lasith Malinga, a former captain of Sri Lanka, raised his cap to Yadav, also known as “SKY”, along with others.
“This is purely for fun. SKY’s T20 batting display was superb. Even though it was against SL, I enjoyed watching every minute of it. absolute greatest in the world! Malinga, a player with the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League who partnered with Yadav, tweeted.
